A highly regarded boutique law firm is seeking a 2nd–4th year Associate to join its Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights practice in Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile Chapter 11 matters and complex bankruptcy litigation within a close-knit and collaborative team.

The practice is regularly engaged on cutting-edge disputes affecting creditors in major restructuring proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in bankruptcy litigation and creditors’ rights matters
• Support Chapter 11 proceedings and related disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Assist with discovery and case strategy
• Work closely with partners on high-stakes litigation matters

Who You Are:

• 2nd–4th year associate
• 1–3 years of litigation experience
• Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
• Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Bankruptcy or creditors’ rights experience is a plus but not required

Compensation:
Salary: $225,000+
Benefits: Generous signing or clerkship bonuses, relocation support (if applicable), 100% firm-paid healthcare, 401(k) contributions and up to 18 weeks’ parental leave
