Location: Florham Park, NJ
A leading global law firm is seeking a 2nd–4th year Associate to join its Labor & Employment practice in Florham Park, New Jersey. This is an opportunity to work within a nationally recognised team on a mix of employment litigation and advisory work for clients across a range of industries.
The role offers strong exposure to both contentious and counselling matters, providing a well-rounded employment practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation and whistleblower claims
- Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs
- Advise clients on employment law issues including terminations, performance management and wage and hour compliance
- Support internal investigations and risk mitigation strategies
- Draft employment agreements and workplace policies
- Work closely with clients on day-to-day employment matters
Who You Are:
- 2–4 years of employment litigation experience (defence-side)
- Experience at a regional or national law firm
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
- Experience advising on employment law compliance matters
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of work
- Admitted to the New Jersey Bar (New York admission preferred)
Compensation:
Salary Range: $200,000 – $235,000 (DOE)
