Location: New York, NY

A leading international law firm is seeking a 3–5 year Associate to join its Tax practice in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactional tax matters, advising clients on complex domestic and international structuring across a range of high-value deals.

Associates will gain exposure to private equity, M&A and fund formation work within a highly regarded tax platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on transactional tax matters across M&A, joint ventures and fund formations
• Support private equity transactions and corporate restructurings
• Provide domestic and international tax structuring and planning advice
• Conduct legal research and draft tax-related memoranda and transaction documents
• Collaborate with corporate teams on deal execution and strategy

Who You Are:

• 3–5 years of transactional tax experience
• Experience with private equity, M&A and fund formation matters
• Exposure to domestic and international tax structuring
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail
• Admitted to the New York Bar

Compensation:
Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
