A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Complex Commercial Litigation practice in Chicago. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes disputes across a range of industries, handling matters through all phases of litigation.

Associates will gain hands-on experience managing sophisticated cases in both state and federal courts within a highly regarded litigation team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review and expert development
• Take and defend depositions
• Support trial preparation and overall litigation strategy
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Coordinate matters across Illinois state and federal courts

Who You Are:

• 3+ years of general litigation experience
• Experience at a top-tier law firm or federal judicial clerkship preferred
• Strong experience with discovery, motion practice and depositions
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills
• Highly organised with strong case management abilities
• Admitted to the Illinois Bar
