A leading global law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level Corporate Funds Associate to join its highly regarded private funds practice in New York. What You’ll Do
- Advise sponsors and investment managers on the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds
- Work across a variety of fund types, including private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative investment vehicles
- Support regulatory and compliance matters related to investment management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex, high-value transactions
- Engage directly with clients and contribute to strategic decision-making
What They’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate law, ideally with exposure to private funds or investment management
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a high level of professional accountability
- Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
- J.D. required, along with prior experience working in a law firm
