Business Litigation Associate
Location: Washington, DC
A respected national law firm is seeking a 4–5 year Associate to join its Business Litigation practice in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters within a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional client service.
Associates will gain exposure to complex disputes, including federal court litigation, while working closely with experienced litigators on high-level matters.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in complex business litigation matters

Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs

Conduct detailed legal research and factual analysis

Participate in federal court litigation proceedings

Assist with depositions, hearings and trial preparation

Collaborate with partners and team members on litigation strategy
Who You Are:
-
4–5 years of business litigation experience in a law firm setting
-
Excellent academic credentials
-
Strong legal writing and research skills
-
Law Review or judicial clerkship experience preferred

Experience in federal court litigation is advantageous

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Admitted to practice in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia
Compensation:
Salary Range: $195,000 – $200,000 (DOE)
