A leading global law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate (JD 2024–2021) to join its Tax Group. This role focuses on tax controversy and litigation matters, offering exposure to sophisticated IRS audits, appeals, Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs), and litigation before the US Tax Court and refund forums.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-level tax disputes within a nationally recognised tax platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in IRS audits and administrative appeals

  • Support Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) matters

  • Assist with litigation in the US Tax Court and federal refund forums

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and submissions

  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex tax controversy strategy

Who You Are:

  • JD class years 2024–2021

  • Strong academic credentials

  • Relevant professional or government tax experience

  • Experience with tax controversy or litigation matters preferred

  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred

  • Excellent analytical, research and writing skills

  • Admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible for admission

Compensation:
Salary Range: $235,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
