The Opportunity

This position offers hands-on involvement in complex matters within the registered funds space. You will work closely with seasoned partners and high-performing teams advising on the formation, structuring, governance, compliance, and ongoing operation of registered investment companies and related vehicles.

The role provides direct client interaction and exposure to high-level strategic decision-making. You will be entrusted with substantive responsibility, encouraged to take ownership of your matters, and supported by a collaborative culture that values precision, responsiveness, and intellectual rigor.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters affecting registered investment funds

  • Support fund formation, structuring, and operational governance

  • Draft and review offering documents, registration statements, and related filings

  • Navigate evolving regulatory frameworks and provide strategic guidance

  • Collaborate across practice groups on complex, cross-disciplinary matters

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in investment management, with a strong focus on registered funds

  • A JD and previous experience working in a law firm

  • Admission to practice in New York

  • Outstanding academic and professional credentials

  • A self-directed, detail-oriented attorney who works well in a team-driven environment

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
