A leading international law firm and one of Fortune’s Best Places to Work is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join its nationally recognised Construction practice in California. This team advises on high-value construction disputes and transactional matters across a broad range of sectors, offering associates the opportunity to work on complex, sophisticated matters within a collaborative and well-established platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims
  • Handle payment disputes including mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims
  • Advise on breach of contract matters and related litigation
  • Draft and negotiate construction contracts, change orders, and related agreements
  • Support dispute resolution strategy from pre-litigation through trial or arbitration

Who You Are:

  • 3–5 years of construction litigation or equivalent experience
  • Experience litigating a broad range of construction disputes
  • Exposure to contract drafting and negotiation within the construction context is advantageous
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral advocacy skills
  • Prior AmLaw 100 experience and/or judicial clerkship preferred
  • Admitted to practice in California

Compensation:
Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
