A premier corporate practice is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate with 4–7 years of law firm experience to join a high-performing transactional team in Texas. This role is ideal for an associate ready to take on significant responsibility, lead complex deal work, and partner closely with clients on strategic business matters.
The Opportunity
You’ll be deeply involved in sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and other complex corporate transactions, representing both public and private companies. The position offers early responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and the chance to further develop leadership skills within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities

Leading and managing M&A transactions from structuring through closing

Drafting and negotiating principal transaction documents

Coordinating across practice areas to ensure seamless deal execution

Supervising and mentoring junior associates

Advising clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters

Delivering practical, business-focused legal advice in close collaboration with partners
Qualifications

JD required
-
4–7 years of prior experience at a law firm with a strong emphasis on public and private M&A

Proven ability to run workstreams and manage transaction components independently

Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

Experience supervising junior attorneys is strongly preferred

Texas bar admission or eligibility to waive in
