A leading law firm is seeking a commercial litigation associate to join its Complex Commercial Litigation practice in New York. This role offers exposure to sophisticated disputes in New York state and federal courts, with meaningful responsibility across all stages of litigation and the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and substantive briefs

• Take and defend depositions and support hearing preparation

• Attend court conferences and hearings and assist with motion arguments

• Manage written and electronic discovery, including document review and productions

• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical analysis

• Support trial preparation and day-to-day case management

Who You Are

• 2–4 years of commercial litigation experience with a strong New York focus

• Familiarity with New York state and federal courts

• Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills

• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to client service

• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus

• Experience or interest in fiduciary litigation, including Surrogate’s Court matters, is a plus

• Admitted and in good standing in New York
