A prestigious, market-leading law firm is seeking associates from the 2020 to 2023 law school classes to join its growing Tax practice. The team advises on complex, high-value transactional matters and is recognised for its technical depth, collaborative culture, and direct client exposure.

This role offers an excellent platform for associates looking to build a long-term career in transactional tax within a high-calibre, intellectually demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on the tax aspects of strategic and private equity M&A transactions.

  • Support capital markets matters, including IPOs, spin-offs, and related transactions.

  • Assist with investment fund formation and structuring.

  • Advise on real estate transactions, including REIT-related matters.

  • Conduct detailed tax research and draft sophisticated written advice and transaction documentation.

  • Work closely with clients and senior lawyers on complex, often novel tax issues.

  • Participate in conferences, presentations, and other public-facing professional development opportunities.

Who You Are:

  • Law school class years 2020–2023 with strong transactional tax experience.

  • Exposure to M&A, private equity, capital markets, funds, and/or real estate tax work.

  • Outstanding academic credentials with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Confident communicator who enjoys direct client interaction and in-office collaboration.

  • Intellectually curious, commercially minded, and motivated by complex problem-solving.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000 DOE

  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, retirement, parental leave, paid time off, and discretionary performance-based bonuses
