The Opportunity

You will advise sophisticated fund sponsors and investors throughout the entire fund life cycle, from formation and structuring through ongoing operations, regulatory compliance, and investor-side matters. The practice is known for its depth in venture and growth equity funds and offers substantial client exposure, intellectual rigor, and long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structure, form, and advise on the operation of private investment funds

  • Counsel sponsors on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters under U.S. securities laws

  • Advise on issues arising under the Securities Act, Exchange Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act

  • Represent institutional and private investors in connection with investments in private funds

  • Support clients on fund governance, regulatory strategy, and operational considerations

  • Take a visible role in client relationships and contribute to practice growth

Candidate Profile

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience at a law firm, with a focus on fund formation and fund services

  • Strong experience advising fund sponsors and investors

  • Deep familiarity with investment funds regulatory frameworks

  • Excellent academic credentials and superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Admitted and in good standing in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
