A leading, top-tier Labor & Employment platform is seeking a mid-to-senior level associate to join its Traditional Labor practice in New York. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong grounding in union-side or management-side traditional labor matters who is interested in playing a meaningful role in the continued growth of a sophisticated practice.

The position offers significant responsibility, exposure to complex labor matters, and the opportunity to help shape and expand the group alongside senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise employers on traditional labor matters, including union relations and collective bargaining.

  • Represent clients in labor disputes, grievances, and related proceedings.

  • Support strategy and execution across complex labor matters.

  • Work closely with partners on practice development and client expansion initiatives.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across employment and litigation teams as needed.

Who You Are:

  • Mid-to-senior level associate (Class Years 2018–2021).

  • Substantial experience in traditional labor law.

  • Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.

  • Commercially minded and interested in helping grow a labor practice.

  • Admitted to practice in New York (required).

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $310,000 – $420,000 DOE
