Antitrust & Competition Associate
Location: District of Columbia
A leading global firm is seeking a highly skilled associate to join its Antitrust & Competition team. The group advises on complex civil litigation, high-stakes government investigations, and criminal enforcement matters, representing major corporate clients across a range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate looking to deepen their antitrust expertise while working alongside top-tier practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:

Support civil antitrust litigation, including conducting legal research, drafting motions and briefs, and contributing to case strategy.

Assist clients in DOJ and FTC civil conduct investigations, including responding to investigative requests and coordinating factual and economic analyses.

Participate in criminal antitrust matters, including cartel investigations and enforcement actions.

Work collaboratively with partners, economists and cross-practice teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional issues.

Develop expertise across substantive antitrust doctrines, enforcement trends and regulatory developments.
Who You Are:

An associate with 2–6 years of antitrust and competition experience from a respected law firm or government agency.

Strong knowledge of civil and criminal antitrust frameworks and enforcement mechanisms.

Prior DOJ/FTC experience or agency-facing work is ideal.

Exceptional writing, analytical and problem-solving skills with top academic credentials.

Detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $235,000 – $390,000
