Location: San Diego, CA (with flexibility for Torrance or Downtown Los Angeles)
A national AmLaw 65 firm is seeking an experienced litigator to join its established and highly regarded litigation team in Southern California. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior attorney seeking greater autonomy, a strong trial-focused environment, and the chance to contribute to the growth of a dynamic West Coast practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage complex civil and commercial litigation matters across state and federal courts.

Draft and prepare pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and responses.

Prepare for, take, and defend depositions across a range of litigation matters.

Oversee document production and manage discovery strategy.

Argue motions, including discovery and substantive matters.

Work closely with a seasoned team of trial lawyers handling products liability, class actions, and matters involving the Song-Beverly Act, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and consumer products.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues while maintaining a high degree of independence in case management.
Who You Are:

An accomplished litigator with 8+ years of significant experience in complex litigation, products liability and class action defence.

A skilled communicator with strong oral advocacy, persuasive writing abilities, and excellent judgement.

Adept at managing cases from inception through trial preparation, with experience in high-stakes environments.

Entrepreneurial, proactive and motivated to contribute to the growth of a thriving office.

Holder of strong academic credentials and admitted to the California Bar.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $175,000 – $225,000 (DOE)
