Location: San Francisco or Silicon Valley (other offices considered)
A leading technology-focused firm is seeking a high-performing associate to join its Securities Litigation group. This practice advises some of the world’s most innovative technology and life sciences companies on complex civil, regulatory and investigatory matters. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with market-leading partners while taking on meaningful responsibility from an early stage.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent issuers, directors and officers in securities class actions, derivative suits, merger litigation and related civil disputes.

Support internal investigations for audit and special committees involving accounting issues, whistleblower allegations, and anti-bribery matters (including FCPA).

Assist in defending companies and individuals in DOJ and SEC investigations and enforcement proceedings.

Draft high-quality motions, briefs and memoranda, and handle discovery across complex litigation and regulatory matters.

Engage directly with sophisticated clients in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Who You Are:

An associate with 4+ years of securities litigation experience from a respected firm.

Strong academic credentials with excellent written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Capable of managing significant responsibility across complex matters with precision and judgement.

Barred in the state of the office applied for, or eligible to sit or waive in.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $310,000 – $445,000
Compensation is based on experience and role responsibilities. Discretionary performance bonuses and a full suite of health, well-being and financial benefits are included.
